FNS AQUITAINE (D650) is the first of nine FREMM (Frégate multi-mission) type anti-submarine frigates of the French Navy. Built by DCNS in France, she was commissioned in November 2012, and is on her first visit to Halifax on April 18, 2013. An NH-90 helicopter is on the flight deck.
